23 - Description Of The Eating Of Rasoolullah

Reported on the authority of Ibn al-Ka'b ibn Malik, that his father said:
"The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to lick his fingers three times.”
Anas said:
“When the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ate a meal, he used to lick his three fingers [the thumb, the index finger and the middle finger].”
Abu Juhaifa said:
“The Prophet said (Allah bless him and give him peace): 'As for me, I do not eat while leaning on a support'!”
Ibn al-Ka'b ibn Malik reported that his father said:
"Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to eat with his three fingers and afterwards he would lick them.”
Anas ibn Malik say:
"Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) was brought some dried dates, and I saw him eat while he was hunched over from hunger.”
